You asked, so here it comes! The paperback edition of the Books 1–3 Omnibus will be arriving on or before 1st March 2018, and it's a whopper!
The book is a large format 7x10" paperback, reducing the combined 1180 page count of the first three novels by almost half and coming in at 646 pages.
Like the Kindle version the omnibus paperback will come with a cost saving. The pricing is currently expected to be $30.99 in the USA, £22.99 in the UK, and €25.99 in Europe. This price point makes the print omnibus about 20% cheaper than buying individual paperback novels.
If you've already started collecting the novels in 5x8" paperback format, don't worry: they will of course continue. The second Omnibus, incorporating From Shattered Stars and Whom Gods Shall Fear, will also be released in 7x10" format. So whichever way you collect, your bookshelf will line up nicely!
It's that time! The title of the fifth novel in the current Armada Wars series is now announced as Whom Gods Shall Fear.
The title is fitting for the end of the Great War of the Shaeld story, with apocalyptic undertones hinting at the collision of every one of the major themes which have caused so much creeping fear in the preceding books.
There will be no spoilers whatsoever for the next year at least, but one thing is certain: there's going to be trouble. Add it to your Goodreads list!
Just in time for holiday season, the first omnibus edition of the Armada Wars novels is now available to preorder for Kindle. The release date of July 1st is very likely to be brought forward into June (edit: release date was moved to 1st June 2016, and the omnibus is now available).
This omnibus contains volumes 1-3:
They are all the latest texts (which this week have also graced the individual Kindle editions, and the new paperbacks), and the SFTD version is the third edition.
It might seem weird having an omnibus of the first three books of a five book story, but it's simpler to have this now and later release a second omnibus of the last two books (and probably the novellas too). Kindle pricing and royalty structures sort of dictate it.
The book is almost 300,000 words long, so it's a whopper. The price of $9.99 USD (£6.99) represents a saving of about 15-18%, depending on what Kindle region you use.
In all likelihood this is of more use to your friends than it is to you, so do please share!
If however you have only bought the first book, it may still save you money if you buy this edition instead of getting the sequels separately... even if you dropped lucky with a freebie day or a countdown deal.
One of the traditions of the Armadaverse is the end-of-year reveal for the title of the next book.
Let's do something different.

Exclusive to ArmadaWars.com, in this final month before the release of The Ravening Deep, the title of the fourth major volume in the current series has now been confirmed as From Shattered Stars.
Just as The Ravening Deep has two companion episodes coming, the fourth instalment will also be followed by two linked novellas. These will be:
All of those titles are listed on Goodreads, for those who wish to add them to their reading lists. They've also been added to our own books page.
The second novella to expand the events of The Ravening Deep has now been confirmed for a May 2016 release data, and it's already been added to Goodreads.
Previously announced on what is now my author's blog, the first novella — I Dream of Damastion — is a first person perspective story set aboard an Imperial starship. It will follow an entirely new character as they become embroiled in the galaxy-spanning events of The Ravening Deep.
The second novella, titled The Granite Whistle, will follow another new character's brush with destiny, this time on an Imperial colony world we have not yet visited.
The novellas will be companion episodes which expand the story so far without taking the main narrative off on a tangent.
You can add The Granite Whistle to your Goodreads "want to read" list here:
The third novel in the Armada Wars series — The Ravening Deep — is now available to pre-order in all Amazon Kindle regions.

One month after the date of release, the normal sale price will take effect. This will be £2.99 in the UK, $4.99 in the USA, and the equivalent prices in other regions.
The print length of The Ravening Deep is expected to be ~520 pages. Unfortunately the paperback cannot be pre-ordered, but it is expected to be released on or shortly after the eBook release date.
