The Armadaverse
What's it all about?
In short, Armada Wars is a hybrid of military science fiction with space opera. This creates a great blend of action, fleet and ground combat, character drama, suspense, and of course... mysteries galore.
If you love following flawed and memorable characters as they stumble through someone else's master plans, with stakes that just keep increasing, you're definitely in the right place.
When does Armada Wars take place?
How do I know what's canon?
Simple rule: the order of precedence is the books, then this site, then anything else.

The Books
Some conversations and events seem to have no consequences. Why is that?
They do, just not necessarily in the same book. Consequence is in fact a major underlying theme of the Armadaverse as a whole. Because all the novels released so far are part of a single, five-book story, not all scenes will be explained or brought to a conclusion in the same volume. It might be two books down the road by the time something that seemed trivial comes back to haunt a character!
Who does all that awesome artwork?
The book covers for the first five main sequence novels plus I Dream of Damastion, and the images derived from them, are commissioned from digital artist Adam Burn. His intuitive grasp of the tone and character of the Armadaverse speaks for itself.
The cover for A Storm to the Savage is based on an original photograph kindly made available for use by talented photographer Diana — please check out her Linktr.ee.

How do I get updates for my Kindle versions?
Sometimes text is revised in the Kindle versions, to correct errors such as puntuation or grammar. When new books are released, the front and back matter of existing volumes is updated to reflect this.
N.B. There has been a policy change at Amazon KDP, which means that existing customers will now only receive updates for changes which substantially alter the form or meaning of a text.
Kindle updates can be released in three ways:
Amazon prefers not to push updates to devices, because this can delete or malform customers' notes, bookmarks, and highlights. They tend to reserve method 1 for correcting truly critical problems with a book, and use method 2 for other significant changes. Method 3 is the most commonly used, especially for small or cosmetic changes.
If you have automatic updates turned on in your Kindle account you will receive updated books as they become available. If you have it turned off you can check for waiting updates on your "Manage my Devices and Content" page, accessible from the Kindle section of your local Amazon site: UK Customers ↗︎ • USA Customers ↗︎

The Characters
Who are the main characters right now?
As luck would have it, there's a whole section dedicated to answering that question! The Main Characters page lists the principal actors in the story, and you can find everyone else from the People page.
Caden would be 9 at the outbreak of the Perseus conflict, and Throam would be 11. Will they be in that trilogy?
Not as main or secondary characters. Their parents have roles to play though, so they will likely be mentioned at the very least.
However... if you are up to date with the books comprising The Great War of the Shaeld, then you have already met some of the characters involved in the Perseus conflict.
