Nottingham Comic Con 2017
Where We WereNCC took place on October 14th 2017, at the Nottingham Conference Centre, UK. The Armada Wars brand was present, with RCV manning a trader table on the lower ground level, on the outside wall of the exhibition space. It was a fairly good position with lots of through-traffic, since we were next to the lifts between floors.

The Day's Entertainments
Unfortunately this time around we had no run-ins with screen celebrities, unlike our experience at the previous year's event in Grimsby. Aside from a few entertaining visitors, whose antics will not be described, the most unusual event of the day might well have been the unexpected fire alarm activation. That was a strange ten minutes.

How it Went
This was the second convention for Armada Wars, and in terms of sales and interest it was a huge step up from the toe-testing that went on in Grimsby. The visitors were clearly more interested in discovering new things, and that resulted in quick sales and lots of people taking fliers and business cards.
Increased page reads via Kindle Unlimited are visible already in the KDP reports section, which is gratifying. There were even some very brave souls who made blind purchases of the entire series there and then. Again, many of the people passing the table clearly found the artwork arresting.
It was a long day, but rewarding in many ways.
