Education & Training

Imperial War College

Anyone wishing to attend at an Academy, or join any of the Imperial Combine's military forces, must attend here.

Imperial Flight Academy

The Flight Academy takes graduates from the War College and transforms them into competent naval staff.

Shard Academy

Secreted away on a rogue planetoid, the Shard Academy is one of the Empire's most mysterious facilities.

Counterpart Academy

Most graduates of the War College are qualified as CAGA soldiers. This academy takes them one significant step further.

Eyes and Ears Academy

All graduates who wish to specialise in intelligence and join the ranks of Eyes and Ears must attend at this academy.

Camp Camillion

Located on Guathelia, Camp Camillion is one of the Empire's many live training facilities for CAGA soldiers.

Fortresses & Stations

Fort Sol

The first line of defence in the Sol system, this massive fortress is placed in an orbit sympathetic with that of Earth.

Fort Terra

Fort Terra is the last major line of defence for Earth. It orbits the planet inside the radius of the fracture barriers.

Fort Luna

Fort Luna is a battle station which shares a gravitational centre with the Earth's moon. It is a vital defensive resource.

Fort Laeara

Fort Laeara is the key transfer point for most traffic passing between the Orion and Perseus arms of the galaxy.

Fort Herses

Fort Herses lies in wide orbit of Ramm Stallahad, the most valuable world in the Herses system.

Fort Kosling

Originally a defensive fortress for the Kosling system, Fort Kosling has now been destroyed.

Fort Shalleon

Fort Shalleon is close to Maidre Shalleon, but provides defence and medical facilities to the whole Shalleon system.

Altakanti Station

Altakanti Station is an Imperial Combine listening post. It routes communications as well as intercepting transmissions.

Wah-a-la-han Anchorage

A space station abandoned when the entire Wah-u-laki species vanished, now occupied by the Imperial Navy.

Ship Yards

Sol Shipyards

The Sol shipyards are responsible for a respectable proportion of the Imperial Navy's production quota.

​In times of extreme demand they are supplemented by Pavadene Fleetworks, a private sector facility.

Hepira Shipyards

The Hepira ship yards are located in distant orbit of Ramm Stallahad.

​They provide continuous warship fabrication, and are responsible for a good fraction of employment in the Herses system.

Noroconte Shipyards

Noroconte ship yard is the second most productive manufacturing point for Imperial military starships behind Hepira.

The facility is operated by Commodore Quine Odrigan.

Generic Structures

House of Governance

Every Imperial Combine star system has a House of Governance, usually located in the capital city of the busiest planet.

Starport

Planets which see a lot of trade generally have at least one starport, allowing ships of various designs to land.

Correctional Compound

Some planets are dire enough to be most unappealing to the general citizenry. The Empire generally sites its prisons there.
