As you may have read, Armada Wars will be making its debut at the Sci-Feb convention in February 2017, with plans to attend at a number of other events including Comic Con.
Preparations have started months in advance, and here's some of the kit that's been acquired to make our participation both smooth and slick. Not pictured: Haribo. Various changes have been made to the web site in the past few days and weeks, to improve your experience:
Phew! Think that's everything. If you have any thoughts about these changes, please do leave a comment. ![]() Armada Wars is now signed up to the PayPal Here programme, which also means it is now a PayPal Check-In location. What does this mean for you the customer/fan? RCV will start to promote the Armadaverse in the real world in 2017, so you'll be able to get paperback books, posters, or other paraphernalia signed right in front of you. This site and the official Facebook page will pre-announce all appearances. Thanks to the little guy shown in the image, payments can now be made in person by swiping a card, chip and pin, contactless, Apple Pay, cash/cheque, and of course PayPal transfer. If you're a fellow indie author, or a small/home business owner, I recommend taking a look at PayPal Here. The card reader works in conjunction with the PayPal Here app, which lets businesses put together a product catalogue. It allows product options, tipping, tax calculation, Check In, and email or print receipts, plus it can integrate with the Constant Contact service so that customers can be added to your CC mailing list (if they so desire). |
