Quisten Leksis was the Eyes and Ears invigilator for the Cerina system, and usually resided on her homeworld of High Cerin. She worked from the Fort Cerina battle station.
Her primary intelligence focus was the collation and interpretation of information gathered by the Imperial Combine's many listening posts. As such, she acted as a strategic liaison between E&E and the Imperial Navy's Commander Operations. Notable Events:In March 3745 ELC, Leksis was present at the E&E meeting which discussed the attacks on Gemen Station and Echo.
Leksis reported to the gathered invigilators that Viskr forces had been monitored in a state of almost continuous redeployment along their borders, and that there was no apparent logical pattern to those fleet movements. During the same meeting, she took the opportunity to engage in friendly rivalry with her colleague from Maidre Shalleon, Silane Creid (→SFTD). At a later meeting, Leksis was one of the invigilators who debriefed Elm Caden on the Rasa threat. She again engaged Creid in rivalry, and also discouraged him from merely dismissing Caden's views on Voice, the Rasas, and Site Bravo (→TRD). Leksis had suggested to Caden during that meeting that she would make efforts to find out if Site Bravo had been infiltrated or attacked by the enemy. While talking to Joarn Kages, almost a month later, Caden discovered that Leksis had almost certainly done so, and that her instructions might have resulted in a missing platoon of Tankers from Buzzard Company travelling to Lopama. He also found during that conversation that Leksis had been assassinated by a Sleeper (→FSS). |
