Ecoria Faustrathes Maerane is currently the Empress of the First Unified Imperial Combine of Earth.
Born into the royal family, Ecoria was the first-born of her siblings and therefore destined for the throne from the moment of her birth.
She was coronated on 3rd August 3717, at just 22 Solar years old, less than two solars before the outbreak of the Perseus conflict.

Notable Events
Empress Ecoria holds her court in Imperial City on Earth. While in the presence of courtiers or the public — even her trusted chamberlain — she uses collective pronouns to refer to herself ("we", "our"), and presents herself in a formal and regal fashion. In private, however, with highly trusted associates such as Elm Caden, she has been known to throw off her imperious guise and behave more personably (→TRD).
Maerane is known by those close to her to occasionally act mischievously. After telling Caden to choose his own counterpart to replace Rendir Throam, she then gave orders to Rupus Dyne to fulfil that role even if Caden rejected him. Caden later realised this was a ruse designed to remind him that he could make his own choices, he should make those choices in a timely fashion, and he had the support of the Throne in most of the strategic decisions he could possibly make (→TRD).
When Caden last met Empress Ecoria in person, on Earth, he found her to be 'uniquely presented'. She had bright green eyes, impossibly straight silvery hair, and a dress of white and green silks (→TRD).
Empress Ecoria recently spoke with Elm Caden by holo-channel, and chastised him lightly for his humiliation of Fleet Admiral Tabius Bel-Messari. She also discussed with him the measures protecting Earth and Imperial City, and expressed concerns over his safety while downplaying the threat to herself (→FSS).
