Lasan had been enamoured enough of Artho to not only leave home to co-habit with him, but to emigrate to an entirely different world. For some time after leaving home, in her chats with her sister Euryce, Lasan would often open the conversation with a story about where she and Artho had been, what they had done that day, or how funny he was (→TRD). Eilentes noticed that as time went by the content of their talks began to feature Artho's kindness and fine qualities far less frequently, until Lasan eventually sounded depressed, defeated, and withdrawn. This culminated with her telling Euryce she thought she had made a mistake, and that Artho was not the man she had thought he was (→TRD). Soon after that conversation had taken place Lasan left Artho and returned home to Kementhast Prime, where she spent a period of time living with her parents Westry and Maishan (→TRD).
