Overview

Peshal Throam is one of Rendir Throam's two mothers. She left behind three generations of family on Shuul when she moved to Earth to be with her partner. She now resides with her wife Lamis in the towering City of Peru.

Notable Events

Peshal is an avid holo-photographer, and acts as the family's historian. She is also very fond of cooking, finding the marine ingredients and seafood recipes of Peru far more enticing than the repellant bounty of Shuul's oceans. Although she has a great fear of heights, and an aversion to large crowds of people, she has adjusted well to life in a tower city (→LOTD).

Throughout his childhood, Peshal advised Rendir that he should be 'the reed which bends in the wind, but never breaks'  (→LOTD).

Like Lamis, Peshal was not in favour of Rendir's dream of joining the military. However, in a turn of events which surprised Rendir, it was Peshal who convinced Lamis that they ought to let him become himself by joining CAGA. She advised Rendir that being a counterpart might suit his personality and talents (→LOTD).

When Elm Caden visited the Throam household to bring news of Rendir's disappearance on Meccrace Prime, Peshal was still in a state of shock. She insisted repeatedly that he was still alive, despite having no evidence of that whatsoever (→TRD).
