Lamis Throam is one of Rendir Throam's two mothers, and is a lifelong resident of Earth. She resides with her wife Peshal in the towering City of Peru.

Lamis bore Rendir, and is sometimes called his 'canal mother' behind her back.

Notable Events:

For as long as Rendir can remember, Lamis has always been the more authoritative and verbally aggressive of his parents. On one occasion she deeply offended Father Cabrera, a minister of the Church of Humanity Redeemed, in a conversation which would have long term consequences for the family (→LOTD).

Like Peshal, Lamis was not in favour of Rendir's dream of joining the military, and blamed his obsession with Perseus conflict news reports for making him fall in love with the concept of CAGA (→LOTD).

Lamis was the parent with whom Elm Caden spoke when he visited the Throam household to bring news of Rendir's disappearance on Meccrace Prime. At the time, she was burdened by Peshal's apparent inability to cope with the news (→TRD).
