Jewelled Entreat of Blessed Devotions was a female Rodori who served as a sunshe-mother on the Imperial Combine protectorate colony world Naiaeg, up until her apparent suicide in 3677 ELC.
Notable Events:Blessed Devotions was the sunshe-mother during the pre-life of Grudden, and presided over his education up to and including his Rite of Personification, during which he became known by his adult name of The Bruised Heart of Faith in Others. Taking part in that ceremony was Grudden's peer and sunshe-brother, then known as Karnnel (→FSS).
It was Blessed Devotions who chose Karnnel to be the name-giver of that particular ceremony, and his envious and devious behaviour after the ceremony was completed caused her shame and guilt to the extent that it had a profoundly negative effect on her mental health (→FSS). Blessed Devotions died of exposure on the barren plains near Naiaeg, after staying out into the coldest hours of a particularly frigid night. While the investigation conducted by civic security was inconclusive, Bruised Heart and others were confident that she had done this intentionally, and knowingly ended her own life (→FSS). |
