OverviewBorn in 3736 ELC, Gendin is the estranged son of Rendir Throam.
Gendin was less than a Solar old when Rendir experienced a rapid decline in his relationship with his partner, Ephisia Pardé. Gendin and his mother left while Throam was on a three-day training exercise; the counterpart returned to their shared quarters to find only a short note left behind (→SFTD). Years later, Gendin and his mother were the cause of an argument between Throam and Euryce Eilentes (→LOTD). Rendir Throam has not seen Gendin for almost nine Solars, and does not even know what he now looks like. Although he is often filled with rage when he thinks of his ex-partner's actions, Throam has not pursued her for custody of the child as he knows that his career and lifestyle would make the boy's life very difficult. The last reliable information Throam received suggested that Gendin still lives with his mother, on a remote planet in the core-ward fringe of the galaxy's Orion arm (→LOTD). |
