Overview
The Kodiak GTV-6 is an eight-wheeled, armoured personnel carrier used by the Imperial Combine's CAGA forces.
Designated as a ground transport vehicle, the Kodiak is only lightly armed but has heavy armour and several attack countermeasure systems. It is also capable of skinprinting, which allows it to evade detection in some situations. Current Imperial landers are designed to accommodate a GTV-6 even when carrying a full platoon of troops, or two Kodiak vehicles when fewer soldiers are being transported.
The operations cabin is at the front of the vehicle, and accommodates two crew. The rear of the vehicle is a large transport cabin which can hold a squad of CAGA troops with equipment and cargo. Access to the rear cabin is gained through heavy sliding doors on the sides of the vehicle (→SFTD).
Every Kodiak can be fitted with mission pods to carry surveillance drones or other equipment. The rear of the vehicle features a thick, trapezoidal evacuation hatch (→TRD).
Kodiaks usually have at least one autoturret, capable of identifying and prioritising targets. The targeting system can be linked to an aerial drone, which can then guide the turret's movements using its own targeting array (→TRD).
