In addition to the previous update which enabled Apple Pay, SSL has now been turned on across the site. This means that all your browsing on the Armada Wars web site is secured by design.
The home page has been streamlined to make it easier to focus on what matters to most visitors. The Chronology page has been moved from the Universe section to the Books section.
Just a reminder that a new Audiobook status page was added, which will keep you abreast of which novels are available on Audible and iTunes, and which one is coming next.
Those of you who picked up a business card at either Sci-Feb or Comic Con in 2017 have a special coupon code in your hand.
The offer this code gives has been updated today: get a whopping 50% off the excellent A1-sized poster for Steal from the Devil.
The official Armada Wars online store has until now only accepted PayPal, which may have put off those of you who don't use (or don't wish to use) that service.
Not any more. Now the store is partnered with another service, so you can pay with PayPal, Apple Pay, or pretty much any conventional card!
It has begun! The Kindle edition of From Shattered Stars is arriving now, for those lucky readers who live in Australia or use the Australian Kindle store. As midnight hits in the time zone for each regional Kindle storefront, the book will become available for download there. If you pre-ordered, and your device is connected, it will appear by fricking magic.
Three handy things to know:
The paperback edition is expected to land on the store and on Amazon before the end of June.
A while ago there was a poll regarding the redesign of the front covers, and it was very helpful to hear your views.
This poll is along the same lines, only it's for posters. The posters are currently available as artwork only, or with title text (i.e. just like the front covers). I'm considering either changing the design with text, or adding a new poster into the line-up.
So take a look at the three styles below (Style C is of course the proposed one), then please do spend fifteen seconds giving feedback. It really does help!
The posters for From Shattered Stars have arrived at last, and at A1 size (84.1 x 59.4 cm) in high quality print they look amazing! Like all the other posters, they are printed on heavy duty 250gsm silk paper, using a professional CMYK process which duplicates the colours reliably and beautifully.
There's a new value pack in addition to the old 3-pack, this one is of course a 4-pack containing all the posters for the main sequence novels. The price point of the 3-pack has changed to make it 15% off, and the new 4-pack gives you a chunky 20% off.
Celebrate the unbeatable artwork of Adam Burn with this A1-sized poster of the front cover for From Shattered Stars, which immortalises the amphibious landing scene from the Battle of Palanda Ire!
Printed on 250gsm silk paper using a professional CMYK process, this heavy duty, high quality poster measures 84.1 x 59.4 cm. It will ship in a secure cardboard tube.
Note that this poster also comes in a value pack — see the related items below.

This bumper set contains all four of the A1-sized posters released so far, for the full novels, in one convenient and economical package. The set can be ordered with or without branding.
Printed on 250gsm silk paper using a professional CMYK process, each of these four high quality posters measures 84.1 x 59.4 cm. They will ship in a secure cardboard tube.
The value pack saves you money on the four posters bought separately. By buying four, you save over 20% on individual prices.

If you visited the Armada Wars stall at Sci-Feb, you may have picked up a business card. You'll find a coupon code on the back of it... but it's not just any old coupon code, oh no.
This is a persistent, mutating coupon! Throughout the year, as new items come onto our store, the advantage it gives you will change periodically. So for example upon the release of From Shattered Stars, you will get a preferential rate on the paperback.
All we ask is that you keep it to yourselves. Convention visitors are special!
The first offer is a whopping 30% off all posters, which includes value packs!
There's loads of information on this site about the series, broken down into very logical sections, and the best place for a newcomer to start is with the about page.
To make stock-keeping simpler and the accounts easier to work out, book signing is now a flat rate of £4 per copy.
Books in the store which previously offered 'signed' or 'unsigned' as an option no longer do, they're just the plain paperbacks. Signing is now an 'item' in its own right.
To get books signed you just add one signing item per book. If you're buying several books but don't want them all signed, you can put instructions in the 'notes to seller' field at the checkout (have faith: this box appears when you return from PayPal). Just say which books are to be signed and which are not.
The signing item now comes up as the first 'related product' on every book page, so it's easy to see.
If you're a regular visitor to the site you probably noticed these changes sneaking in over the past two weeks. If not, here they all are:
The 'value packs' of paperback novels have been discontinued. The reason for this decision is that they do not sell, which means they unnecessarily added several pages of maintenance and update tasks.
